Video sells Art!…and it’s so darn cool!

After spending quite a bit of time looking around Facebook I began to notice that artists who produced videos of their art got more comments and had their work visible on groups a lot longer than artists simply posting pictures of their art.

To start with, there are less artists posting videos than pictures, so obviously that sets them apart straight away.  Another thing about videos that seems to attract more attention, is the compelling combination of music and stunning moving images.  Have a look at this link and see where your eyes go first .

The other cool thing about videos featuring art is that once you have created it, you can then use it all over the internet without re-doing anything - simply by posting the video to high traffic sites along with a link back to your web pages or info on your contact details.  So quickly your art can be on You Tube, Facebook,  your blog, My Space, embed in your Ebay listings and anywhere else that encourages the posting of videos.

Anyway have a look round yourself on these sites and see where your attention goes.  To find out more info on creating a video of your art visit Artdomain’s ‘Make a Video of my Art’ page.
